	Lucy's not back yet. Come in. I'm very sorry to hear about your father.
		It's kind of you to say so.
	How's your mother ?
		She's very upset, as you'd expect. But she's a strong woman. And it wasn't really a surprise.
	Was your father ill ?
		No, but he was in his eighties.
	I had no idea that he was so old.
		He fooled a lot of people. He was a tough old fellow. I'm going to miss him. But I suppose death comes to us all eventually.
	When's the funeral ?
		On Wednesday.
